Ski Hosting Ban Upheld

Story courtesy of Morzine Source Magazine
Three Valleys tour operator Le Ski were back in court in Chambery today as their appeal against a previous conviction for illegal ski hosting was heard. A judge upheld the ban on ski hosting, giving Le Ski five days in which to lodge an appeal to the Supreme Court in Paris. It’s our understanding that a further appeal will take place, with the support of other tour operators such as Alpine Elements, Crystal Ski Holidays, Esprit Ski, Inghams, Mark Warner, Neilson, Ski Olympic, Ski Total, Skiworld and Thomson Ski.
The judge did however, reduce the amount of damages Le Ski are being forced to pay to the ESF resulting from their previous ski hosting activities.
