Ski holidays aren’t just about skiing, or even just for skiers. There are lots of things going on in Morzine this winter so whether you have a non-skier in your group, are looking for something to do on a ‘rest’ day, or when the lifts have closed for the day, here is what's happening around town during winter 2022/23.
Family fun
The square by the Tourist Office in the centre of Morzine always has something going on and is a good place to soak up the atmosphere of the town.
Kicking off the winter season with a sprinkling of festive magic, is the Village Enchanté, two weeks of illuminations, shows and entertainment starting on December 17th, including a visit from Santa and New Year celebrations.
When spring comes along, the square is transformed into a kids village with shows, workshops and games for Royaume des Marmots (Kingdom of the Marmots) from 8th - 10th April.
Just off the square you’ll find Le Room, Morzine’s own Escape Room. Perfect for families with teenagers (or grownup kids!); you’ll need to work together to solve the clues and see if you can make your escape before the timer runs out!
Away from the centre of town, there are plenty of non-skiing activities to try in Morzine.
