Funding boost for British Team

The athletes will get £4.89m from UK Sport following the success at Sochi. It has been welcomed but alpine skiers receive nothing with the money going to the freestyle team.


The funding allocated to Britsh Ski and Snowboard, BSS, will be spread over 4 years in the run up to the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea.

It is a rise on the £1.51m that was awarded for the two-year period of 2012 - 2014. Read on...
