Local Peak skied in June!
You and I may have hung up our skis and boots at least until next winter but that's not the case with high mountain guide Gilles Sierro, who last month completed an epic descent of the Dent Blanche- part of a range of 4000+ metres peaks which provide a stunning back drop to skiing in the Portes du Soleil. Incredible given that we didn't receive quite as much snow as usual and with higher than normal seasonal temperatures in April. I guess the moto is, if you look hard enough, you'll find some skiing.
