Next winter will see the Easter holidays much later than previous years. At the moment, the main weeks of the Easter holidays are going to be the the weeks of the 11th and 18th of April.
Many people will look at those dates and decide that Easter is surely too late to go skiing. Fear not, as they could be mistaken. It's currently May and the high altitude resorts of Val d'Isere and Avoriaz have received more snow this week.
Over the past three seasons, many of the high resorts have started to look a little bare towards the end of March, then enjoyed fantastic spring snow throughout April.
With such good end of season snow, there are a selection of operators looking to offer Easter skiing right through until the last week of April.
Shooting the breeze about the ski industry, the great outdoors and general gossip from the Doorstep Skis HQ in Morzine, France.
